Kruuga
This is festive sweet cracker of Karelian cuisine. Kruuga has taken place from Karelian language and means «circle, devoted to the Sun».
Kruuga also is a national round dance like Russian «horovod». Cracker Kruuga was cooked on any festival. Each cracker were unique symbol of Kruuga or the Sun. They were cooked in large quantities with wishes of goodness, sun, well-being and fortune.
